Posted December 1st, 2008 by MattLast weekend, college students from across the country converged on the nation’s capital for the 10th Annual Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) National Conference, and among them were 10 students from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH. On Friday, Nov. 21, over 250 students swarmed Capitol Hill for scheduled meetings with their Congressmen and Senators. Their issue du jour? The 100-1 sentencing disparity for crack vs. powder cocaine.

A new website called is leveling exactly that charge against Cindy McCain, who is chairperson and majority shareholder in Hensley & Co., a major Anheuser-Busch distributor. "As head of the Hensley Cartel, Cindy McCain has made a fortune," the site asserts.

Accordingly, I was one of many voters who was disappointed to see you raise your hand in the Oct. 30 MSNBC debate, indicating that you did not agree with Dodd's common sense position.

Clayton Holton was scheduled to receive a visit from Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich Tuesday morning at his residence, the Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH. At 22, Clayton is the youngest person ever admitted into a retirement home in New Hampshire, and Kucinich wanted to hear his story.
